DIY 10minute meal
This can be called by any name. It's a homemade, trial and tested recipe, so I call it 'ROTI TACO', that's Indian homemade taco for me.
Before getting started, I'd like to tell you just need 5things for this,
- Cheese.
- Mayonnaise (if you don't have mayo, don't worry, you can add a creamy sauce of your choice, or could even skip it)
- Tomato ketchup
- Salad (I used the basic cucumber, onion, tomato, capsicum mix, but again that's upto you, whatever you want your taco to taste like)
- Roti (or tortillas)
It may not look good, as this is my first post, and I cook for myself sometimes, and I don't care how it looks as long as it tastes yumastic! ;)
To start with, crisp the tortillas a bit on medium flame, or half bake the roti. It should not be completely cooked nor should be undercooked.
After you attain that medium crust, apply cheese on half of your bread. We only do the half part so its easy to fold or wrap and the stuffing doesn't fall out.
Mix some mayonnaise and ketchup in a bowl, until it becomes some orangish red, and spread it once the cheese has melted a bit.
Chop fine your vegetables and add some salt and black pepper to taste. Spread some full spoons of the mix over your dressing.
Now slowly fold the remaining side of the bread. Make sure it covers atleast a major part of the filled side. Try holding that crispy folded part over the other part until it sets in that manner.
Turn off the heat and that's ready to eat!
Let me know if you like it.
